We had answers from three people on this one.. all quite correct! Any time you see wear on the back side of the uplock hook it's time to start checking your nose gear rigging. It will fly a long time missrigged that way, but it's not right and should be fixed.

It's not a difficult fix, but if you have to teach your A&P how to do a nose gear rigging the time can add up. Not to mention the cost of a spring scale! :-)
